"Oss, Cellphone – Study"

I was studying The Divine Proportion and trying to apply to a graphic design piece, like a poster. Then I thought that could be a good exercise to create something on 3d, like a packshot from a simple product. As a result I got this gadget, which has my result of the golden ratio study on it´s back cover. The hole scene is extremely simple: the models were done with box modeling technique and were lit with a very basic three point light setup. I used an architectural material for all the parts with reflaction/refraction and phong shader for the others. Render was done with Mental Ray with GI + FG on softimage. Between the tweaks that I would still do are an adjustment of the aliasing and an increase of the main lights samples, to reduce the noise in the final image. It was hard to do this image because my notebook went crazy for a while until it managed to render it (lol).
